It's a little weird. I grew up in Illinois, but I never voted there since I didn't turn 18 till I left the state for college. But I still feel like the whole horrible mess with the governor was happening in my home state. And now it's over.
It's not like this is the first corrupt governor the state has had. And it's probably not the last, unfortunately. But everyone I know from back home is going to be really glad that this one, especially, is gone.
