Some exciting stories from Avi Lewis and Naomi Klein over at the Nation.
It's so hard for me to imagine Americans getting up the energy to occupy a factory. There is so much working against that, tv, pressure to conform, pressure to believe other people know better than you, pressure to be a "good loser".
So it's exciting to see these stories from all over the world about workers taking over the means of production, and especially heart-warming to see Americans included in it.

It is very encouraging to see American workers stand up for themselves, especially against bullying banks who took their bailout money after abusing the nation's trust.
The banks were operating under the assumption that has been valid for too many years: the labor movement is too weak to mount meaningful resistance; assume you can abuse the rights of workers, and no matter what, they will roll over and die.
