The Nation has some great Pete Seeger tributes.
Like this one from a few years ago by Studs Terkel.
And this more recent one from Peter Rothberg.
The man is turning 90 years old tomorrow, and I'm just so glad he's still alive. Especially since Studs left us in November.
My facebook status updates this weekend are all Peter Seeger song quotes. (Which doesn't necessarily mean he wrote them, just that I hear them in his voice.) If you have any good suggestions, I'd love to hear them; I'm finding myself disturbingly rusty.
