Circles Are Nice

I got to attend an ordination today. It was nice. I have served on our church's committee that approves people for ordination for the last 8 years, so I've been to quite a few ordinations in the last few years. But what was nice about this one -- which will be my last in that official capacity, since I'm now retired -- is that it was a young person. Someone who was, in fact, the age I was when I joined the committee. This was the first one like that in my whole 8 years, I think. So that was nice, for a sense of closure.
