Monika Bauerlein talks about the ways that the after-effects of 9-11 continued the destruction of some of the important strands of the social, political fabric of our nation. She makes some very good points in this piece, "9-11 Truth, Trutherism, and Truthiness."
I believe in justice and self-determination for all people. I believe that the gospel calls us to redistributive economics and active non-violence. I believe humor is a gift from God. I believe Jesus is something to do, not something to believe. I have just begun a new ministry as pastor of a small-membership church in Southern California, after serving for ten years in Alabama.
