Two families are deserving of your prayers this morning.
First of all, my regional minister's step-dad passed away, somewhat suddenly yesterday. They are traveling there today. But to make matters worse, he (RM, not step-dad) was robbed at a gas station, in broad daylight on Saturday, and their son's guitar was stolen as well. Lots of pain and hassle.
And even more sadly, over the weekend, a local family had trial number three. They lost their mom to cancer a year or so ago. The daugter was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks or months later and has been struggling with it ever since. She is most likely terminal at this point. Then, this weekend, the dad had a heart attack and had to have stents installed in emergency surgery. There is a little boy in the family as well.
Please keep these people in your prayers. It's so hard to understand why some people are hit so hard.
