People in my church have been asking me for a while now if I know of anyone in the congregation who is in danger of losing their job. As it turns out, this week, I've heard of two different families that will be facing job loss in May.
And meanwhile, crises of other natures don't stop just because there is a larger thing going on. So I've got a family dealing with unplanned (unwed) pregnancy too.
And of course, upcoming surgeries, less work for people who do home construction, etc., stuff, and just generally people getting old.
It kind of feels like a lot this week. Let's all pray.
