Haikus for a Snow Day in the South

I am a Yankee.
Minor accumulation
does not impress me.

Church cancelled today?
Not a chance, silly Dixie.
Just drive carefully!

Slippery highways.
Inexperienced drivers.
I should be nicer.

Bonus haiku for fellow EHS grads:

When cold and wet, fire
is your first priority.
Or blankets will do.

Travellers react
with wonder and frustration
to the big wet flakes.

EHS version:

If you have a plan,
he told us, you will survive.
What if plan goes bad?
